Coined, The Birthday Celebration Package, you’ll have your child’s birthday invitation or announcement styled from start to finish!  You will work with Brooke Rindahl of Brooke Ringdahl Photography to style your child’s birthday shoot (for any age).   Then you’ll work with My of PaperThick Ink to create your own Custom Photo Card Invitation or Announcement.

This full-service package is priced at $350 and includes: 1) pre-shoot consultation with Brooke to dreamstorm and plan your child’s theme, outfits and age-related props.  2)  Professional Photo Shoot in-studio or on-location.  3) Digital negatives on CD. 4) 25 fully customized designer photo birthday cards printed on premium stock with envelopes (additional card quantities available).

What does the Birthday Celebration Package look like?  Check out Lily’s List below!   For her birthday party invitation, her mom decided to create a real-time list of the loves in Lily’s life as a 3-year old on the cusp of turning 4.  An aspiring diva, Lily selected her own bob haircut, feather shoulder duster earrings, hello kitty tee, and pink hightop kicks.  Brooke included 4 balloons to mark her current age.  This list, named after Lily’s Likes and Loves can be customized to YOUR CHILD’s age-specific likes and loves.  The colored banners and pennants can be customized to include, name / date / party.  Contact Brooke or My today to schedule your child’s Birthday Celebration Package!

{Banner Day!}

We adored this little purple creation when we first made it.  Now that this little girl is almost 2, I’m finally posting the set in honor of her mother.

The Challenge: Create an announcement that incorporated not just 1, but 3 different photos which had to be removable so that family could place them in frames.  Of course it MUST be cute.

The Winner:  A multi-layered announcement held together by lavender thread in a zig-zag stitch.  The sewn layers look like an album binding which suited this little girl to perfection.   The bound pages were inserted into a lavender pocket and wrapped with a hand-painted ziggy striped paper.

A design concept that was threaded throughout the whole project.    Hahah!  I put the fun in pun.

Fast forward to the end of February 2011, I get a call from a very serious Miss Reagan reminding me that her birthday was a month away and that I had promised her a pirate map invite.  Good memory.  Smart girl.

Here matey’s is the map to ye’ golden treasure!  *Ahem*  Sorry I get carried away them:

Check them out!  We incorporated purple and pink skulls since this was for a little girl, after all.  The card’s format features a die-cut shape… a new item that PTI now offers!

When Brock turned 1, his mom and dad had his 1st year portraits taken with Autumn Photography in Omaha, and printed in wallets to share with friends and family.  Brock’s mom wanted a fun way to share them with all her family and friends (especially for those who couldn’t make it for his ‘s 1st birthday party).

The combo card + photo we came up with lets us enjoy the best in both worlds:  a flat card, plus a wallet to keep in your wallet!  We fell in love with what we came up for her and her little man.  Check out this baby (pun intended!):

We’ve been hyper-good-busy working on new projects, filling orders and shooting projects.  Each new project is a thoughtful undertaking of function, design and problem-solving.   [You have one picture, one girl and one very important occasion.   Keep it fresh, keep it pretty and keep it under budget.  Discuss.]

I love the swirly red vine and leaves.  This invitation was printed on a pearly bright white stock and coated.    The double-sided invitation was sturdy enough to mail as a postcard, but Alex’s mom decided to mail them in envelopes.  I fight the urge to mail every card individually wrapped in bubble wrap to protect them… all my projects are my babies.

But sometimes you just have to watch your babies make their own way out into the world.
