One of the best parts of having a photographer friend as a studio mate?  Having a photographer who volunteers to capture our handiwork on the morning of the wedding.  Thanks to Brooke Ringdahl of tarookephotography, these were taken on-location and in the windows and space of Sarah and Michael’s historic, English Renaissance venue in downtown Saint Paul, The University Club.  Enjoy the images!

Their colors were Eggplant and Chanteuse.   We incorporated a deep purple swash and a casual-but-elegant calligraphic typeset into the invitation.  As a nice surprise and pop of color, we lined the mailers with a deep eggplant envelope liner.

The season started with the Landmark Bridal Fair, produced by Make It Grand.  We showed as My&Me with both PaperThick Ink and ta’rooke photography collaborating to create our freeform, crecsent-shaped display.  A marriage of prettiness, personality and function!

Lisa had commissioned a small canvas that we have in our collection (an 8×10) for her intimate wedding of 9 in attendance (including only her parents and their brothers) held at the gorgeous Habour House Inn in Elk, CA.

Idyllic, Pastoral, Intimate, Peaceful, Arcadian; these are the words I would use to describe Lisa and Derik’s wedding.  Her photographer Augie Chang, is a first rate, first class pro.  All photos featured in this post are property of Augie Chang and PaperThick Ink is honored to have been included in Lisa and Derik’s wedding lineup.
